Why Start a Blog?
My first blog post is based on the following question… “why start a blog?”
Because it forces me to reflect and organise my thoughts, allowing me to make better decisions through improved clarity.
Further explanations are below:
The first mentor I worked with told me to do so.
Writing coherently is a valuable skill.
I want to write a book some day.
It helps me express myself to like-minded people.
It can act as my decision log (documents my thinking), on which I can later reflect.
Tim Ferris does it.
Smart people do it.
I will take it more seriously than journaling.
When I come to a realisation, I will document it here, therefore increasing the likelihood that it sticks with me.
I make leaps and jumps in my thinking and writing forces me to close the logic gap, helping me understand reality and myself better.
It seems like a fun idea to document my thoughts.
I am scared of judgement and by putting my thoughts on the internet (fear exposure), I will start to care less about judgement.
I want to.
Note to self: Do not try to make these posts perfect, just allow yourself to write whatever my brain manufactures within that moment.
